Aleut Community of St. Paul Island Tribal Government’s
Policy for Protection of User Data and Privacy.
The Aleut Community of St. Paul Island Tribal Government (ACSPI) maintains appropriate administrative, physical, and technical safeguards for the protection of the security, confidentiality, and integrity of User Data. The ACSPI and our hosting partner maintain multiple copies of User Data and/or backup of User data in accordance with ACSPI policies and procedures with the goal of 100% availability. The ACSPI shall not: (a) modify User Data, (b) disclose User Data except as expressly permitted in writing by the User, or (c) access User Data except to provide the services and prevent or address service or technical problems, or at User request in connection with technical support matters.

Account Deletion is initiated by clicking a button in the Settings section of each app to initiate the process for deleting a user’s entire account record and associated personal data from an Indigenous Sentinel Network (ISN) app program. The account deletion process is done manually and takes approximately one week and users are informed when the process is completed. ACSPI ISN administrators may request that users reply to an email message to verify that they have actually initiated the process on purpose. Under some special circumstances, users may be contacted by an ISN AWC representative.
Policy for Protection of User Mobile Phone Data and Privacy

Purpose of mobile phone number data collection
The system may collect user-provided mobile phone numbers for two purposes: 1) to support optional user security functionality for password reset and identity verification via two-factor verification (2FA); and 2) to provide a user with automated forecasts and other responses from system-derived information in response to user-submitted messages.

Usage and Sharing of Data
We do not sell or rent your mobile phone numbers and related user data with any third parties, and data is not used for unsolicited communications, marketing, or analytics.

Consent and Opt-out
In all cases of ISN messaging, consent is verified explicitly in the ISN platform by requiring users to actively select an SMS communications channel and submit a confirmation code, or by offering a passive service which only replies in response to a user initiating the interaction by sending a message to an automated chatbot and requesting an informational response. You can withdraw consent any time by selecting a different verification channel.
